Steps to take to assist the recovery:

(1) Do not attempt to run scandisk, defrag or copy / add additional files to the media KIS will be working with.

(2) Make a list of important files you wish KIS to recover; the more specific the better.

(3) Note your operating system version (Windows 2000, XP, 98, etc.) and the number of drive letters you usually see (c, d, e, etc.)

(4) Note any problems you experienced prior to loss of your data

(5) Bring media or system in with your information for prompt attention.
